Supporting Those Who Served

Veterans Benefits for Home Care

At Premier Care Solutions, we are committed to helping veterans and their surviving spouses access the benefits they've earned through their service to our country. Many veterans are eligible for benefits that can help cover the cost of home care services, but navigating the VA system can be challenging.

Our team has experience working with veterans and their families to understand available benefits and assist with the application process. We believe that those who served our country deserve the highest quality care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key VA Benefits for Home Care

The Aid and Attendance (A&A) benefit is a tax-free pension available to wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need assistance with activities of daily living.

Key Features:

  • Monthly financial benefit to help pay for long-term care

  • Can be used for in-home care, assisted living, or nursing home care

  • Provides additional funds above the basic pension amount

  • Not dependent on service-connected disabilities

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Veteran must have served at least 90 days of active duty with at least one day during a period of war

Monthly benefit amounts vary based on the claimant's situation but can provide significant financial assistance for home care services.

Aid and Attendance Benefit

The Housebound allowance is a benefit paid in addition to the monthly pension for veterans who are substantially confined to their homes because of permanent disability.

Key Features:

  • Monthly financial benefit for veterans confined to their homes

  • Can be used to pay for in-home care services

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Veteran must be receiving a VA pension

The Housebound allowance provides less financial support than Aid and Attendance but has different eligibility criteria that may benefit certain veterans.
